Books should be valued for their content, not their mode of publication

Sign our petition and we'll send you our campaign booklet outlining the issues at stake for authors.

ALLi runs an ongoing campaign to encourage and aid literary festivals and prizes; government bodies; creative industry professionals; literacy, literature and cultural organisations; government bodies and decision-makers; and other interested parties to include self-publishing authors in their programs, events, listings and reviews.

Signatures to our petition are sent to selected literary organizations, bookstores and libraries, and other interested parties.

Email campaign:

We run an email campaign where we highlight access issues to organizers of literary prizes, events and programs in six key territories: Australia, Canada and Commonwealth, EU, New Zealand, United Kingdom, and United States..

This campaign is organized through our international ambassadors and links with other author organisations and is a global outreach to publishing industry influencers; bookstores, libraries and associations; literary events managers; books reviewers; book prize committees, author associations and others.

Please contact us with commendations for those who are opening up to indies, as well as recommendations to those who could do better.
